HI, I'M CAIT
Greetings! It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where I majored in marketing and leadership. I am proud to say that my family and friends are my biggest supporters, and I cherish the close bond that we share. In addition, I am a firm believer in the importance of fitness, and I make it a priority to engage in activities such as going to the gym, hiking, and playing tennis. I also have a creative side, which I love to tap into through jewelry making, painting and scrapbooking. However, one of my greatest passions is travel, and I have been fortunate enough to explore 12 different countries so far. I find it incredibly rewarding to immerse myself in different cultures and learn about the people and experiences that I encounter along the way. As a result, I have compiled a collection of photos that showcase the people, places, and activities that are most important to me, and I invite you to enjoy them as well.
LIVING IN EUROPE
I had the opportunity to study in Italy for two months. During those two months I traveled to 9 cities in Italy and to 5 other countries around Europe. One of my favorite activities while traveling to other countries is wandering the streets and just taking it all in. You would be surprised the unique places, people and things you run into. When I lived in Florence, Italy my roommate Carly and I would walk around the city after class trying to find new experiences. One time we stumbled upon a clothing store that focused on upcycling old fabrics into other articles of clothing. We met the owner of the store and learned about her story and what drives her. While living in Florence, I learned that people make the place home. Everywhere I traveled I made an effort to talk to people and try to learn more about them and their stories. Making those connections was such a special part of living in Europe for me because no matter where you are in the world if you surround yourself with loving and caring people, you can make anywhere home.
